Message Hi Christian,

Glad you and your project are users of SCons!

Let me point you at our (active) user(Used for issues developers using scons to build their software should use) and developer(Used for scons itself's development discussions).

The user or developer email list would be the best place to send such and email.

Also let me point you to our developer guide at: http://scons.org/wiki/DeveloperGuide

SCons always welcomes code contributions. Though we do have a fairly strict policy of requiring tests be added for any new code.

So if you have patches to add support that would be great and we'll aid you in adding to the test suite for such.
Adding support for new versions of MSVS is either trivial or difficult depending on what they've changed with each new version.

One thing which the project is missing and perhaps your team could assist, are systems running various versions of visual studio to add to our buildbot CI farm.

Hope that helps!
p.s. CC'ing the dev list.

We always liked scons since its python based approach is easy to use and nice to configure for our own project(s). Unfortunately it seems to us that there is no support for the recent versions of MS Visual Studio, or at least we are not aware of actual changes in scons that support the new MS compilers.
